Nimesulide tablet pain reliever


Nimesulide is a prescribed non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with a multifactorial mode of action for the treatment of for post-traumatic inflammation, acute musculoskeletal disorders including sprains, strains, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, low back pain, periarthritis (shoulder pain) and osteoarthritis (joint pains), stiffness.

Nimesulide is a recently developed analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory agent that differs from conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs both in structure and pharmacological profile. 

Nimesulide is been available since 1985 and authorised in worldwide over 50 countries in different brands such as Sulide, Nimalox, Nimesil, Nimulid, Nicip, Nimcap, NiseSulidene and Zolan.

The tablet is available in various forms such as powder, suppositories, mouth dissolving tablets and topical gel.

 The prescribed dose and the duration prescribed is 100mg and the treatment should not be more than 15 days.

Nimesulide tablet for pain killer
