Nimesulide tablet for Primary dysmennorhea

The most powerfull painkiller NSAIDs tablet Nimesulide is used for treating acute (short-term) pain, painful osteoarthritis (swelling in the joints), and Primary dysmennorhea (Period Pains).
Nimesulide is available in the form of tablets (100 mg), granules for oral suspension (100 mg), suppositories (200 mg) and gel (3%).
The maximum duration and dose of a treatment course with nimesulide is 15 days, 100 mg twice a day, to minimize the risk of hepatotoxicity.
Clinical studies have been carried out in a wide variety of acute inflammatory and painful conditions with the aim of evaluating the analgesic activity of nimesulide in comparison to placebo and to some of the most common NSAIDs.In these studies, it is observed that the efficacy of nimesulide was consistently superior to placebo with a particularly fast onset of the analgesic in action.The rapid action shows the immediate relief within the 15 min from the drug intake for the acute pain.
Continuous use of NImesulide may cause certain side effects like Diarrhea, vomiting, skin rash etc., It also preffered to use for the age above 12. Women should use the drug with caution during lactation and it is contraindicated during pregnancy.
