Nimesulide gel for Arthritis pain treatment

Nimesulide is a relatively COX-2 selective, with analgesic and antipyretic properties. Its approved indications are the treatment of acute pain, Osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhoea.

The tablet is available in various forms such as powder, suppositories, mouth dissolving tablets and topical gel.

Nimesulide gel is used to treat chronic and acute musculoskeletal disorders such as soft tissue injuries or non-articular rheumatic disorders, including discomfort in the muscles, tendonitis, back pain/ache, arthritis, tenosynovitis sprains, or strains.

The gel is prescribed to apply to the affected area for 2 to 4 times every day depending on the dimension of the affected size and response. Medicalcare ought to be reviewed after 4 weeks.
