An NSAID agent- Nimesulide is widely used in the treatment of variety of painful inflammatory conditions including those associated with osteoarthritis, postoperative trauma, sports injuries, acute musculoskeletal disorders.
The most prescribed Nimesulide drug- was launched in Italy for the first time as Aulin and Mesulid in 1985 and is presently available in more than 50 countries worldwide with different trademarks.
The maximum duration and dose of a treatment course with Nimesulide medicine is 15 days, 100 mg twice a day, to minimize the risk of hepatotoxicity. It also preffered to use for the age above 12.
