Nimesulide Tablet Uses

Nimesulide medication is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic and antyperetic properties, prescribed for painful inflammatory conditions, back pain, dysmenorrhea and etc.

The usual dosage of Nimesulide is 100mg twice a day. For children it should be taken 5mg/kg of body weight in 2 or 3 divided doses

Nimesulide is used to reduce:

1. Osteoarthritis
2. Low back Pain
3. Sports injury
4. Dental pain
5. Moderate pain & fever
6. Dysmenorrhea

Its multifactorial mode of action gives it a unique and broad action on inflammatory processes.

Nimesulide is reported to be beneficial in relieving the symptoms of rhinitis, rhinopharyngitis tubaritis and seceretory otitis media with concomitant antibiotic treatment.

Precautions:

Women should use the drug with caution during lactation; Nimesulide is contraindicated during pregnancy.
