Nimesulide is available in the market in various forms including tablets (100 mg), granules for oral suspension (100 mg), suppositories (200 mg) and gel (3%).

Nimesulide Gel should be applied to the affected area, for 2 to 4 times every day.

Gel is used for the treatment of chronic and acute musculoskeletal disorders including discomfort in the muscles, tendonitis (cord), back pain/ache, arthritis, tenosynovitis(swelling in tendon) sprains, or strains.

Some patients were analysed for assessing the efficacy and safety of this gel. 

This studies results in better relief from pain and inflammation(redness/ swelling in a part of a body) parameters in more number of patients with nimesulide Gel.
