Joint pain affected by osteoarthritis
(OA) which is a group of mechanical abnormalities involving degradation of joints, and NSAIDs - Nimesulide is most commonly used to treat pain associated with OA.
The main symptom is pain, causing loss of ability and often stiffness. Osteoarthritis (OA) is caused by aging joints, injury, and obesity. OA commonly affects the hands, feet, spine, and the large weight bearing joints, such as the hips and knees,
cyclo-oxygenase (COX)-2-selective inhibitors have been proved to have certain advantages over non-selective NSAIDs and have been increasingly used for pain management in patients with OA.
Nimesulide proved to be significantly more effective in providing symptomatic relief. Nimesulide represents an effective agent for the treatment of joint pain, with particular reference to the rapid onset of its analgesic effect.
It also used for the treatment of primary Dysmenorrhea, and Acute pain.
Nimesulide shows meaningful reductions in pain and inflammation observed within 15 minutes with its analgesic and antipyretic properties.
