Solubility
of Nimesulide was studied using different cosolvent mixtures and
various classes of non-ionic surfactant. Solubility increased
drastically (>70 mg/rnl) when polyethylene glycol 300 and
polyethylene glycol 400 were used as solvents.
The quick dissolving tablets of Nimesulide contains superdisintegrants, that accelerates the disintegration of tablets by virtue of their ability to soak up great deal of water once exposed to binary compound surroundings.
Nimesulide is sparingly soluble in aqueous
buffers. For maximum solubility in aqueous buffers, Nimesulide should
first be dissolved in ethanol and then diluted with the aqueous
buffer of choice. Nimesulide has a solubility of approximatelyThe quick dissolving tablets of Nimesulide contains superdisintegrants, that accelerates the disintegration of tablets by virtue of their ability to soak up great deal of water once exposed to binary compound surroundings.

NSAID
drug NImesulide has proven benefits in the treatment of Acute (short
term) pain, Painful osteoarthritis (Swelling in the joints) and
Primary dysmennorhea (Period Pains).Nimesulide is available in various forms like Nimesulide Tablets, Nimesulide Powder, Nimesulide Gell, suppositories etc.
Nimesulide is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, DMSO, and dimethyl formamide (DMF).
nimesulide is an effective and safe therapeutic choice for the treatment of various painful inflammatory conditions, with a rapid onset of analgesic activity. As for other NSAIDs the use of nimesulide is recommended for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms in patients with acute pain or primary dysmenorrhoea.
