Nimesulide treats post-traumatic
inflammation, acute musculoskeletal disorders and osteoarthritis
(joint pains).
It is available with the dosage of 100 mg for the tablets, and 100 mg for granules for oral suspension, 200 mg for the suppositories and 3% of gel.
Nimesulide tablet is recommended for the shortest duration. The maximum duration and dose of a treatment course with nimesulide is 15 days, 100 mg twice a day, to minimize the risk of hepatotoxicity.
